Declaration regarding the duty to provide information (data privacy statement)
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the statutory regulations (GDPR / EU General Data Protection Regulation). In this data privacy statement we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
If you contact us using the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored with us for at least six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for that of dealing with any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your permission.
Data storage (webshop)
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for the subsequent processing of any contracts, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the Internet connection subscriber in the form of cookies, as well as the buyer’s name/first name, postal address, email address, phone number and, if need be, fax number.
In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for contract processing purposes: the contact’s name/first name, company name, postal address, email address, phone number, fax number, and any comments that may be necessary. The data you provide are necessary for the performance of the contract or for the purpose of implementing any pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without these data. No data will be transferred to third parties with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to payment service providers / the banking institutions processing the transaction, for the purpose of debiting the purchase price from your account. Furthermore, we transfer data to the transportation company / courier service commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax consultant for the purpose of discharging our obligations under tax law.
If the purchasing process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted.
In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the data retention period under tax law (7-10 years).
Data consisting of name, postal address, email address, goods purchased, and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is conducted on the basis of the EU’s statutory regulations (GDPR), those of the EU member states, and those of Switzerland.
