Shoes that are worn daily for eight to ten hours have to endure a lot and may be subject to wear. The right care can extend the life and resistance of your shoes considerably. We offer you specially selected shoe care products designed specially for our shoes. There are certain things that you should always take into consideration when looking after your shoes.

You should clean your shoes regularly using a brush that is not too hard and mild soap water. Do not use any aggressive solutions or cleansers as these may seriously damage your shoes and considerably reduce their lifetime.
Do not dry your shoes on the heating! If wet leather dries too quickly and get warm, it loses its flexibility, becomes brittle and breaks. If this happens, then even the best shoe care will no longer help. Instead, you should fill your shoes with newspapers and let them dry at normal room temperature. You should replace the newspapers after five to six hours.

The leather needs the most care; you should look after it regularly and also pay attention to the type of leather. In some shoes we use normal cowhide leather, in others nubuck leather and in others split leather. The leather that is used in your shoe is stated in the product description. The majority of shoe care products such as sport wax, leather care, etc. are available in different colours. Make sure that you choose the right colour. You should not use any fatty products to make the leather softer as the material may become bloated or permeable. You should only apply shoe wax and shoe cream to dry shoes, only use small quantities and regularly. If the shoes are often exposed to wet conditions and moisture then they should also be regularly impregnated.
