wellness and safety for your feet
Textiles are indispensable for many components of a shoe, such as the lining, shoe upper or insole. Woven materials have many advantages: They are light, can be used in any form and are very hard-wearing.
Modern high tech fabrics only have very little left in common with the good old cotton shirts of old. Today, state of the art methods and technologies are used to weave fabrics that possess remarkable properties. We make use of these properties, for example, outstanding breathing properties.
Textiles are most commonly used as lining materials, because they are soft, easy to process and can be combined as required. We use the properties of Comfortemp fabrics in many of our shoes. This fabric has millions of tiny PCM micro capsules (Phase Change Material) integrated in it, which allow it to even compensate major temperature fluctuations in the shoe.
Textiles play a major role in ensuring optimal wear comfort.
Safety at work at Stuco also applies to the selection of our suppliers. We pay very close attention to the textiles that we use and make sure that they do not contain any toxic substances. Providing the corresponding documentation is an absolute must when selecting our suppliers.
Every Stuco shoe contains 5-10 components from a wide range of different textiles.
